DCH collaborates with communities, public agencies and businesses to beautify public spaces. Providing planning, design and implementation services, the Center focuses on urban and suburban public spaces such as parks, plazas, traffic islands, gateways and other roadside rights-of-way. Eye-appealing plantings suitable for tough urban and roadside conditions with a context-sensitive, regional flavor are initiated and showcased at the request of community members who wish to realize a more beautiful and livable environment. R-O-W tree plantings are supported through the DCH Tree Program.
